Has anyone changed their position on Trump now that North Korea says it is a good idea? There can be no clearer indicator of how un-American you are than to be endorsed by Kim Dong Un.

Reverse psychology. I imagine they would much prefer seeing HRC win. They're used to dealing with whining liberal appeasers

It's strategic on NK's part. Endorse what you fear because it will create the opposite reaction.

SPC Rory J. Mattheisen - Did President Trump start a new war? Did President Trump empower our enemies? Did Trump encourage Russia, China, or Iran? Did President Trump enrich our enemies? And hurt not only our economy but the economies of the rest of the world? By lowering our production of fossil fuel exports across the globe. Would you mind enlightening us on the beautiful things Biden has done to lift the standard of living for our retirees? Inflation hurts the middle class and the working poor. There will be no bailout for us! At the same time, Biden has opened the floodgates to illegals without testing their health issues and background checks, as is done for everyone else legally following our immigration rules. So here's the challenge answer my questions without calling me names or using such words as bigot or racist. Here's one more small question for you. What was wrong with President Trump looking out for the ordinary working man and women in our own country? And in doing so, he raised the economy of all free nations!. God bless America

The same as I felt about him before. He is a narcissistic bully who instead of talking about substantive issues prefers schoolyard name calling.

He is an absolute disgrace to our political process and is a great example of why the GOP never should have opened the door to their crazy tent.

The deficit was raised far more by Trump’s silly billionaire tax cuts than by anything Biden did. Of course the costs to the economy of a global pandemic outweighs anything either of them could do.

As for the military allowing transgender people, I feel exactly the same as I did about allowing gay and lesbian people to serve; specifically I am in favor. If someone wants to serve and is physically and mentally able, then I appreciate their service.

Two of the best NCOs I have ever had the honor to serve with are homosexual, and I’d gladly serve with a transgender soldier long before I’d serve with a bigot.

I don't agree. Obama and Biden have been bringing our country down. Other foreign leaders look at them as panties who let them get away with all sorts of stuff.

How are you feeling about Donald Trump as a candidate after his newest endorsement?

A few thoughts:
- I am sure that North Korea does not have American best interests in mind when Kim Dong Un says anything let alone a US Presidential endorsement.
- The basic international norm is to not interfere in the internal politics of a sovereign nation. Granted this norm is routinely violated but it is a good rule to follow even for American politicians.
- To write that "there can be no clearer indicator of how un-American you are than to be endorsed by Kim Dong Un" shows a staggering ignorance of how the world works in general and how North Korea operates in particular.

LTC (Join to see) - What if the reason Trump won the Presidency was because 30% of the liberal vote went with Jill Stein instead of Clinton? IMO, that would be the end of the Democratic party as we know it. In the next election the Greens would have qualified for Federal matching funds and met the threshold to be included in the debates. It would be a whole new ballgame.

SSG (Join to see) - I disagree. The Green Party is a lot further left than the Democratic party, too far left to win a general election.

LTC (Join to see) - What percentage of Democrats are likely closer to the platform of the Green Party than they are to the Democratic party? I believe the number is likely around 40%, add in around 20% of Independents and people who register as Green and your close to 20% of the electorate. The Democrats get to move to the center and stop pretending to be Liberal, the Republicans either fight for the middle ground or embrace the far right... assuming a significant percentage haven't defected to the Libertarian party.

LTC (Join to see) - I agree with you that we need more viable parties, but the Democrats have always been a left-of-center party. The Green party takes extreme environmental and animal rights positions that most Democrats don't share, just like how Libertarians take anti-government positions that most Republicans don't share.

My point is that for 2016, it is too late for a viable candidate to run under a third party, and the best the Green or Libertarian party can do is spoil the Democratic or Republican nominee, respectively.

Ralph Nader gave the 2000 election to George W. Bush. Stein isn't popular enough to give the election to Trump, but Sanders (who never was a Democrat) might be.

Johnson isn't popular enough to give the election to Clinton, but had Mitt Romney decided to run, he would have been.

We will be left with a race between Clinton and Trump. The GOP, I think, will be slow in recovering either way and seriously has to address what party it wants to be. The days of the ultra-religious, the anti-taxers and the foreign policy hawks getting along are over.

The Democrats are also fractured, but I don't as badly. Most of the people Bernie brought in aren't Democrats, but independents. Clinton has still won millions more votes, and in states with closed (Democrat only primaries), she wins. That Sanders wins in open primaries clearly shows his support is not coming from Democrats.

After 2016 the Green Party likely will get a boost, as will the Libertarian party, but I doubt either will do more than gain a few house and senate seats for at least 16 or 20 years, if ever.

SPC Rory J. Mattheisen - A lot changed, just not much of it is political. At least now those who own the country don't have to travel to buy luxury goods, and of course tourism is a great industry and it is facilitated by the presence of luxury hotels, high-end restaurants and of course shopping.

St. Petersburg and Vladivostok are actually on five year list of places I plan to visit.

I doubt that. Men who have served in any military are not fearful of those who haven't. They served and are now in power. Trump started out rich and maybe given power. Military personnel and veterans aren't sure arent scared of the rich and powerful.

I noted another idiotic rant by MAJ Andrew Fishkin, who feels free to comment, but blocks people so they can't respond.

He calls Trump a "narcissistic bully", but refuses to acknowledge that title belongs to Obama. Same for his comment about being a disgrace. This is why Liberals should be barred from holding public office.

Fact. Nowhere does the articles that I can find say that Kim endorsed anyone. The endorsement came from a Korea scholar based in China. However the writer is mostly correct in his opinions.
