How are you now; as opposed to how you were before you joined the military?

Wiser, less judgemental, more open-minded, more eager to learn, more self-aware, more of an oddball/loner/black sheep, and more grateful for my life, and more.

Before? Short , fat, shy, insecure. After? taller, slim, confident, cocky, outspoken, loyal, dedicated, and still a Marine, lol

Wrinkles, gray hair, crackety joints, increased motrin intake, increased scotch intake --- but way more good stuff

Appreciative for what I have and an ability not to get spun up about simple things. This has the potential for becoming a very long list.
