SGT (Join to see) "How can an enlisted service member (Army in my case) enter a bachelor's program..." ...what exactly are you asking? Can you go to an Ivy League school? Sure you can. Qualify and get acceptance. Are you asking about resourcing it? Loans, grants, scholarships, post 9/11 GI Bill, school specific funding/waivers like the Yellow Ribbon program. Are you asking about a resident program from the Army? Unlikely. Advanced Civil Schooling is for Officers pursing Masters Degrees with a cap of 18 months. The objective for ACS is to get officers to Masters degrees...and then Send them to a utilization tour to pay an Army bill. The only enlisted equivalent to me, is Green to Gold and West Point Appointments.

I guess I'm asking more about acceptance into an Ivy League school using a G.I. Bill, after service, or going green to gold at a top university (not necessarily Ivy League; I did not research into which Ivy League universities offer ROTC). It seems like it would be much harder to compete with top high school graduates who ace SAT's and have participated in national programs and competitions. How can a veteran compete with that, and do universities offer a way to bridge the gap?

SGT (Join to see) - Google Yellow Ribbon program. You can see which schools offer anything at all.

You could have SAT scores too. Take a prep course. It's not impossible. You would Be surprised. Right now is probably one of the best periods in history for a veteran to try and go to an elite school. They won't lower any bars, but You also don't have to thurston Howell the IV to get in. Can HS students compete with your life experience? It's a piece.

You can look at Universities for ROTC programs. Many discontinued them in the wake of Vietnam or more recently during the GWOT.

Just like any other college. Being Ivy league doesn't prevent you from college

To enter a bachelor's program in an Ivy League school, you must apply and then get accepted. There's no trick to it.
