How can I change my Re-code? I requested my records from Quantico, I put the packet together and never heard anything back.

Forty-some years ago, it took me the personal assistance of a U.S. Senator who went directly to the SECNAV, after my own attempts had failed. It was corrected in less than one business day!!!

If you have a request for your RE-Code to be removed or upgraded then you will need a reason - The Board of Correction of Naval Records http://www.secnav.navy.mil/mra/bcnr/Pages/default.aspx will be another place I would submit my package, and depending on the RE-Code and what or why you received it, may want to have letters of reference (Congressman, General Officer or Commanding Officer who issue the code). Also, as mentioned before a prior service recruiter may be able to help if your trying to re-enter the Marine Corps.
Tell us more? What was the code for (refusing orders i.e. recruiting duty, to commission of serious offense).

It takes 6-9 months for anything to come back from Quantico once you're out. You can call them however to see what the progress is though.
If you are attempting to change your RE-Code so you can re-enter, you "may" have better luck actually just going through the Recruiter and getting a waiver depending on what the code was.
