I went to the board May of 2019 and passed. Some of my fellow peers just went to the past board and got ALC dates while I haven’t gotten anything. The dates were handed out by brigade. Is there something I can do for this? I’m 11 B. I’m also on deployment.

Soldiers are scheduled to ALC based on the number of promotion points they have. It is possible that your peers have more points. The reason it is done this ways is because those Soldiers who have a higher number of points have a much better change to get promoted and must be fully qualified for the promotion by attending the NCOES school.

I had 210 and didn’t hear anything but I will increase my promotion points higher.

Order of Merit list. Your peers are probably higher on the list than you. Also, your deployment may be keeping you off the list for ALC. Granted, your command could always get you a school date well after you get back....but there may not be projections that far out yet.

My peers went to the board during deployment but I will try to increase promotion points.
