How can I get help finding out how to get a certificate of eligibility for a VA home loan program?

LCpl Jim Haskins You can have it tonight. Log on to the VA eBenefits portal and you can download it unless your eligibility is hung up in another loan and you are out of authorization. https://www.benefits.va.gov/HOMELOANS/purchaseco_certificate.asp

It was all handled through the financing organization that I went through to buy my house. Found the house/realtor, went through the bank and mentioned i was wanting to use a VA loan, they gave me the "how to" and i believe i had to fill out a form? Then i think it went to the bank and we proceeded with the purchase. Was a few years ago, but was quick and painless.

I did the same. I had trouble getting it via eBenefits but my loan officer was able to pull it for me.
