How can I get Red Cross confirmation if they don't offer investigations into my country?

Just trying to see if anyone knows a way around this, Red Cross doesn't talk to Russia and so they can't make a call to confirm the death of my family member. My Chain of Command (Brigade COL) doesn't approve emergency leave without a red cross message no matter what. The red cross tried to help out and opened up a case for me either way with their expla action but to no avail.
Any possible solutions?

I work with the RC. Took a screenshot and sent to some of our Regional Directors. Feel free to shoot me a PM. I'll find out what I can.

Hilariously enough after maybe 10 back and forth emails they gave the word for word apology that I got last time that their services are not offered in my country.
No matter, missed the funeral already, if any information comes through hopefully it can help someone else.

SGT (Join to see) I'm sorry to hear that. The International Federation of Red Cross/Red Crescent (IFRC) is simply a group of individual national and regional Red Cross Organizations. Hopefully, in the future, better ties can be made between various countries and regions.

For me to go to Russia it also needs to be approved by the SFC at the U.S Embassy in Russia, and for her to approve it she needs the emergency leave packet.

Spoke to one of the RC people. She said, go to your chaplain and then have him or her contact the embassy for information/verification.

It's a valid idea and I'll definitely give it a go, though they didn't even accept the death certificate I showed them.
