How do I go about applying for sponsorship in Germany?

I have orders to Kaiserslautern, Germany, prepping for it so far has been going good except for getting a sponsor! I already know what unit im going too. I have about 3 months til I report there. I already completed the DA form 5434 on ACT, and finished all required fIelds EXCEPT for section 3 which is supposed to be for the gaining unit to fill. Is there anything else I should do??

You may try contact with the unit 1SG requesting assignment of a sponsor to make the transition smoother.

Hello I am in Germany right now nearing my final months here but as for US ARMY EUROPE, your sponsor is supposed to contact you immediately or if not so, when u get to ramstein, they are of good help in that they have all contacts to units that fly in soldiers to ramstein so they can help you get in touch with someone at the unit once u arrive but again also if u have family, unless your sponsor has set up your hotel reservation but if not u can contact ramstein inn and set up ur hotel reservations.
