As opposed to using our tax money to threaten schools into implementing No Child Left Behind? There will always be policies that the current administration likes, and enforces, that will be criticized by some. I would prefer that the schools show a little human compassion without being threatened with a loss of funds, but if that is what it takes, then so be it.

SGT Edward Wilcox Sorry to correct you, but you misspelled a word, it is should be spelled Every Child Left Behind. It's ok, I used to make the same mistake all the time.
More seriously, you are absolutely right about funding. Threatening schools with a loss of funding is ridiculous, irresponsible, and amoral.

The only reason this is an issue is because the media is making it an issue, and the sheep are biting. What they won't say is that a child is in more danger from a predator that they know. A predator who is family, or close friends of family. They won't say that because that doesn't sell their agenda. Truth is if the U.S. Got rid of urinals, and installed bathroom stalls that went from ceiling to floor, nobody would give two shits who the asshole violating the next stall is. Reality is that people just want to be who they are. Doesn't matter how they identify. Those are labels that society puts on people. I wear a kilt. It is a black modern kilt as opposed to a traditional kilt. It is the most comfortable garment I own, and FUCK PANTS. That being said I catch strange, suggestive, confused glances all the time. I ignore. Why, because it is not my problem it is the person staring. That is what this boils down to. Who a person is as a person should be more important than what bathroom they drop deuce in. This stupidity about assault is just that stupidity. Are there going to be those assholes that take advantage of the situation? Of course there are. There are assholes in every part of society that will take advantage of any loophole that presents itself. We have got to stop being such a bunch of pansy candy ass fuckheads that instead of punishing those who violate the laws we punish everyone. It is the same thing with Gun Control, abortion, women's rights, black lives matter, you name it. As soon as being a part of a special group means that you need special restrictions or privileges, society has failed. We don't need to protect the rights of these folks any more than that of any other citizen. What we need is to let them handle their business as they see fit, and stop caring about someone else's literal shit.

While I agree with everything you say, I am giving you an added bit of respect just for being man enough to rock a kilt every day. Don't think I could do it, especially in the winter.

I much prefer it to states using tax dollars to keep transgender people out. The federal government is promoting equality. States are spending money using a fear of events that have literally never ever happened. I would rather my tax dollars protect the little guy (or gal) in a community with the highest assault, sexual assault and rape statistics per capita in this country than use my tax dollars to promote a system based on hate and fear that will drive those statistics up by fear mongering.
