Recently I've been hearing countless remarks, and seeing posts from soldiers and veterans alike. Down talking our commander in chief. How do you feel about this? Should this be allowed within our ranks? Does freedom of speech really play a part?

It is amazing to me that no one had this problem when Trump was in office. They slammed him on a daily basis and claimed it was their right. Now they want to protect the "Potus" as is normally fitting.

Double standards? Or, is this just more "Hate Trump" smoke and mirrors?

Folks should realize that he is an old man and not in control of all his faculties. They should refrain from being critical. Hopefully, they too will be old some day and be in the same shape. I realize that I am not as sharp as I was when I was younger.

If you are in the military no matter how you feel about the person in the office,
You MUST respect the office and the person in it
As a veteran out of the military you can openly disagree with the person in the office

I side with the Veterans. Biden has no heart for the families that lost their love ones in the withdrawal of Afghanastan. All he wanted was to talk about his son, forget the families that just lost theirs. He is not fit to be Commander in Chief. In order to save face, he needs to resign.

I think while in uniform you should keep your opinion to yourself unless you're ready to risk your career like the lt. Col in the Marine Corp did it takes courage to do what he did hopefully a seat in congress will suit him better

While in the military, restrictions on what one can do extends not only to military but to civil service. When no association with the Government, have at it.
