While on Active Duty , politics should never be part of your conversations ….. wish some Generals understood that! Hard to follow a standard when you see and hear them loudly expressing their political opinions!!

Even if I disagree with what another veteran is saying, I hope we never reach the point where we are like North Korea.

Being critical is a time honored tradition in America and everywhere else.
Being critical in uniform will bring you negative attention and you will inevitably find yourself on the bad side of the UCMJ.
People whom are successful in life and our Armed Forces learn to listen, think, smile, and keep on walking.

I say go for it. He/She is just as human as the rest of us. If their incompetent and don't have a clue what they are doing, then they must go. It's no different when you've been in several combat situations and your strategic plans work. Then you get some boot camp officers freshly out of boot camp giving you a plan of attack that's going to get everyone killed. I've been there. If someone who is a complete incompetent idiot, It should be known. Whom ever the Clown is. Where talking about the future of our lives, and our country. If the president doe not know how to keep America safe then we may as well hand us over to North Korea. I'm sure we'll be in good hands.

It's supposed to be a free country. I fought for freedom of speech. One should respect the Boss when in uniform but privately say what you want. I always thought it was bull what happened to McCrystal.

Frankly, I appreciate our Freedoms, including freedom of speech. I didn’t serve all that time just to watch them be taken from me!
