How do you feel about veterans or Soldiers criticizing our President?

Respect the office but the man himself must earn our respect. I served under Ford (active) and Carter (inactive reserve). I easily respected both of them. Both in the Navy as I was.
i respect both Obama and Biden though neither served.
As for Trump, I give him as much respect as he gave John McCain.

As an aside, how about all of the confederate flags that came out at Army posts when Trump was president. I remember them well at Ft. Lee Virginia.

I didnt appreciate the fact that Clinton took all ours assets away before operation rescue ranger on Oct 03 in Somalia.. when he came to Ft Drum.. i just didnt go. He was the commander in chief. So i just kept my mouth shut

I served only 6 years on active duty and was discharged as a Sergeant E-5 more than 40 years ago. I was an average GI. Nothing special or heroic. Based on my service I think I can say what I think; however, I still refrain from directly criticizing our CIC online or on any social media. I believe to be critical of a man when he cannot respond directly to me is just not appropriate or professional. I served under Presidents Nixon, Ford and Carter. I respect them all but do not necessarily agree with what they did for and to the military during their time in office. As for the current occupant I will reserve comment.

While a member of any of our armed forces, ANY disrespect to those above us is not only a violation of the UCMJ, but a dumb thing to do. However, if you do it with respect and dignity, you can basically describe a problem you see (w/o mentioning names or positions) AND suggest how the problem could be corrected. It does more in the long run than name calling and bashing. If you are slinging mud and serving up baloney, you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.
on the other hand if you are no longer in service, feel free to speak as you wish, just remember that you can choose to be part of the solution, or simply get your feelings out and contribute to the mess.
I remember using this technique with a Navy LT. I spent 45 minutes explaining things to him. When he left, the Electrical Operator told me that he is going to realize that you basically called him an idiot 2 hours from now. Sure enough, when I got off watch he cornered me and thanked me for the feedback, but not to take the long way around next time.

Veterans have earned that right. But active duty from officers to enlisted should remember chief and commander doesn't matter who is in office you took the oath to obey the orders

Just for clarification, are you asking about the hundreds of active and retired Admirals and Generals that openly criticize the Commander in Chiefs (former and present) on a daily basis?

These days its a real challenge, I respect the office however, that's it in 2022

1st Amendment..Freedom of speech. Criticizing a President is OK, to an extent.
I criticize the President on his policies, or lack of, when it comes to National Security, the Economy, etc. The high prices of fuel, and the illegal immigrant status. The disregard to the American people.
But to criticize him on his mental stability, or lack of, isn't really necessary. He can do that on his own. He doesn't need other people to do it for him.
Now with that being said. What gives him the right to chastise the American people, for not agreeing with his policies. Basically calling anyone who disagrees with him, home grown terrorists.
Giving food, money and other amenities to other countries. To illegal Immigrants, such as baby formula/food and money to live on, while the American family is fighting for survival to feed and house their family.
