How do you feel about veterans or Soldiers criticizing our President?

Criticizing is one thing, but the flat out disrespectful and abusive BS is another...the latter simply displaying the stupidity of character of overpoliticized cultist fools.

Only if done, off duty, out of uniform and in a respectful manner as befits professionals.

I feel there is a difference between "The president and his/her administration is supporting policy X and I think he/she is misguided because [insert reasoned argument]" and "Ya know what, those dumbs*** losers have no clue what's really going and they need to be removed from their position".

The rest of this is a personal opinion that could be very unpopular.

Unfortunately in the United States, I think we see more of the second because political conflict is treated no different than a sporting event. Someone has to be the loser, the winner is supposed to showboat, and aside from the NFL and college basketball, nothing gets more eyeballs on a screen. I truly do not believe most Americans care what happens to anybody else or the country as a whole as long as they can gloat that their side won.

Biden? I guess by the Constitution he is the CDR in Chief, albeit a senile bumbling fool and a professional politician. A WHORE on 14th Street in DC has more morals and utility than he does. Active duty & reserve components can't do much. Don't worry; I'll carry the ball; I'm retired a LONG time, and way past the age of being recalled to active duty AND rated 100% disabled by the VA. They can't touch me. FJB.

For Veterans absolutely,they are not restricted from doing so, active duty are!

Veterans can say whatever they wish, we still have 1st Amendment Amendment rights. Soldiers, is a touchy subject, as it is against UCMJ in most instances

I served our country for 32 years as a Marine and I have no problem with our service members practicing what we fought and bleed for. If they have something on their chest, I feel it’s their right to say what ever they want to. Now I didn’t say get stupid but speak your mind because we’ve been screwed by them all and that’s a hard stone cold fact. They don’t want to pay us, they’re constantly taking the the benefits we were promised especially us older veteran that we’re told free medical and dental once we retired. Well they lied, nothings free like we were promised and that’s the facts. We pay for our medical even while on active duty, it’s called tri-care, plus we pay Medicare tax, we pay for our own life insurance, it’s called SGLI and if you don’t pay your family won’t receive anything once your killed or die and even worse once you retire. We’re told free medical and dental yeah right what a lie. Oh and don’t get me started on the democrats and they’re total disrespect for us, they’ll cut your funding every time they get in power, don’t believe just look it up budget cuts which means less money for new equipment, training, beans bullets and band aids, for pay raises and retirements. Like I said they’ll screw us in a heart beat so I thank god for men an women like us because if we weren’t there no one would be there and frankly one party doesn’t care. If I’m hurting anyone’s feelings good, because I love all my brothers and sisters in arms and I believe a private E1 should make more money than a damn bum working at McDonald’s making 15 plus dollars an hour and wouldn’t serve a day in his life but congress and the president believe they deserve a higher pay than a guy taking a bullet. So you be a good Troop and let us old guys fight these politicians for what you deserve and let us call them bums and criminals because we’ve been there done that and aren’t worried about disrespecting their feelings. I hope you never make a member of our military feel they don’t have a right to speak their mind tactfully and sometimes things need to be said. Silence is ignorance and will get a lot of people killed, so never be afraid to speak your mind tactfully because it might save lives. Presidents aren’t above the law and they also say and do stupid things and I’ll leave it right there, freedom of speech is for all Americans and therefore never give up that constitutional right that you might die for. Soldiers fight for our very right to speak things we may not like to hear. An army of soldiers battles to secure that right---something which can neither be given nor taken away. To determine what a person must agree to speak cannot change the heart of a man; it only makes him callous and cold. Robotic would be a more fitting name. A robot has no intrinsic loyalty.

You can command a person to obey, but his obedience must always be under guard because our nature resents it. Do we really want to pretend to say something nice about someone when we don't mean it? That is the definition of hypocrite. Better to say nothing and keep your integrity intact.

Active military officers and enlisted can get in trouble too easily doing this.
In the public forum when free speech is used to call out grievances, it matters not if public officials are scorned and berated. This is part of free speech, and public officials need thick skins because they will be the target of harsh language.
We veterans have no rules over what we say under free speech. Active military, not in uniform, off base, holds many of the same abilities, but you have to watch for those weak middle managers who will call you out
