First off, the oath that I took was to "... support and defend the Constitution of the United States..." Nothing in the oath that I took said I have to respect the man holding the title of POTUS. As to the office, I have the utmost respect for the office. As an old Master Chief once told me, "respect not the man wearing the uniform/title, but have respect for the uniform/title." I think that if you're going "bash" the man, okay. Don't go as far as to bash the title. We as service members have a duty and responsibility to follow orders, but a moral obligation to question those that we see as unlawful.

Sad to say, but when the CIC is hurting us as military members, we need to be heard. I had to get food stamps as an enlisted sailor with a family under Carter. Navy Relief could not help me out. I could not find an extra job. Certainly could not afford child care. Navy Relief told me that what ever I did not to get food stamps. That was nonsense. At the time I should have written my Congressman and he was a friend of the family anyway.
Military members have a right to their own opinion and when the CIC is someone like Joe Biden, we need to speak out with our votes, through communicating respectfully! This includes writing your elected legislators at both state and national levels. Give them your input. However, remember when you speak to not reflect poorly upon your service to your country and on the branch/unit you serve in. Key word - with respect for yourself, your uniform, and the chain of command. The President serves as a politician and not a military member - he is duly elected. Your vote counts! Cast it.

He is our commander in chief--above reproach until---he is not CIC and then--his demeanor should reflect appropriate attitude and behavior befitting a past president. Being convicted --34 felonies leave him up to severe criticism. Having lost many court decisions with family on segregating his rentals from minority use then laughs over losing all court decisions. Showing up at as a pep rally leader--then getting away with starting an act against the U.S. --- why are normal citizens held to standards above the president??? good luck

better than that felon who has been Privileged his whole life--walking out the back door after starting an insurrection. He caused so many people hardships with his 5 bankrupts. all construction groups--small and large build their businesses on believing the developer/general contractor is honest. poor management--across the board. as a president--should hold a standard he has NEVER followed. what a pain.

He did not cause the insurrection. He had the Gard in place and read to go. And The speaker of the house. dismissed them .. Check your fact

If you are a member of any Military Branch, you should not publicly criticize any member of a Military member, including the Commander in Chief. You don't have to agree with them, like them, or approve what they do. If you feel you must express your opinion, talk to your superiors. Unless that has greatly changed Active/Reserve Duty since I was discharged, it is a wrong thing to express. Talk to your superiors and get their opinion. Until you are in closed quarters, do not break that approach.

Having been located on air bases that were stopping places for Air Force One---was interesting on how military were told how to answer questions if given them in ranks during walkthroughs in ranks.

I remember "back in the day", soldiers received article 15's for such activity. With today softer and more gentle army, it seems that soldiers can say what they want with no repercussions. how times have changed.

When scumbags like Obama and Biden are in elected POTUS [Biden was installed] they deserve to be criticized. Obama, in his eight years on office did everything he could to divide America. His title should be Divider-in-Chief. Biden is so corrupt, he should be impeached and tried in the Senate so all his and his families corruption can be presented to the American people. Biden is for sure a POS.

Last time I checked, free speech was still part of the Constitution that we took an oath to preserve and protect. Just because one doesn't like one's speech, doesn't mean it needs to be silenced. This include hate speech. There are no asterisks on the First Amendment.
