Recently I've been hearing countless remarks, and seeing posts from soldiers and veterans alike. Down talking our commander in chief. How do you feel about this? Should this be allowed within our ranks? Does freedom of speech really play a part?

Do you ever criticize your boss? If not, you're a rare bird. Doesn't matter if your boss is the president. Criticizing your boss is as American as Baseball.

Veterans can say anything they want about the President. Biden is a POS. Military folks need to keep their mouth shut when expressing their opinions about the President.

They have every Right to express how they feel about President Biden!!! After all it because of his decisions that ended up killing People and most of all the deaths of the military men and women who died on that last day. Biden has run this great country into the ground, And he should be impeached now!! not a day later but absolutely NOW!!!!!!!

Our Democracy has not been in as much risk since the Civil War. Our President and the "Dark State" are destroying everything while taking actions to ensure a move toward despotism. We must speak out.

Those of us still on active duty cannot and should not participate, but the veterans in our midst should speak out.

As a vet, I'll say what I want, when I want, how I want, because I want. When in uniform however, I showed respect due to the position. It's the same thing for useless military leadership, you show the due respect or there are consequences.

To me, it makes me think that if they can’t respect their CIC, then they can’t be trusted to respect their lower chains of command and are likely going to be discipline problems. I served in various positions from first Bush to trump and I kept my opinions to myself. I may have rolled my eyes a time or two, but I didn’t outright bash the presidents. Didn’t hero worship them either, because none of them were deserving. The problem is, when you get so fixated on hating the other guy, you don’t hold your guy accountable for wrongdoing, as is blatantly obvious today. Additionally, it speaks volumes about your character if you can’t express your opinion of someone without name calling and making unfounded accusations. Everyone needs to chill and realize no President has ever had your best interests at heart. All of them serve corporate America.

As a veteran all I can say is this country ain't that no more and the clowns that we drop into the merry-go-round we call the White House need to be criticized and condemned a lot more than they are.

The Commander and Chief should be shown the Highest respect. After all he is the Senior Officer.

It is our right as citizens to criticize our leaders. However to do it in uniform or use a position of power to do it so it seems like the military itself is agreeing is wrong.

Criticizing is different than talking down about also. Saying I think President Q did this wrong is not the same as saying President Q is a POS. Or even only using a number to refer to a president instead of their name.
