For the Army, we have a program called iPerms that is a copy of everything from the time we signed up. There is a copy of my original enlistment papers with my parent's signature on it because I was 17 at the time I enlisted. I'm not sure if the other branches do this, though.

The original is in your medical records that follow you everywhere throughout your service. Side note: "if your still in make a copy of everything". Once you retire or EAS it then goes to archives. If your lucky and depending on when you got out and your rank it could be on your OMPF. ( mine was) You may want to check out this site too. http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/medical-records.html

As a member of the National Guard, if it's not with your unit, and you are unable to retrieve the induction physical from https://vetrecs.archives.gov/VeteranRequest/home.html recommend you inquire with your state's Adjutant General's office.

I'm going to look through my medical records again and see if it is in there. I have my basic training stuff but no medical stuff from then.

Hello,
My name is Jimmy Carter and I served 22 years (13 May 1986-31 Aug 2008) in the USAF. I need to know if I can acquire copy of my MEPS physical exam records. I'm currently filing a VA claim for my flat feet and need proof that I entered the military with flat feet. How can I get a copy of my MEPS records?

MEPS does not keep a copy. That paper work shipped with you. Request if from your military branch of service.
