How does one join a group that will give credit on profile?

I am trying to complete my profile to 100%. Suggestions?

To join a group, hover over "Groups", click "All Groups" at the bottom. Then click "Military Units", followed by "Air Force Units. You can also do a search to find a group or groups that you would be interested in joining.

I did have a r for retirement, where did it go and and how do I get credit for BESD which is worth 4% points on my profile. How do I get credit for it? Help any way you can to fix these items. Dave
