How does the packet process for RASP work? My husband (an E-6 13F) has contacted the recruiter at 75th but has not received a response.

Tell him to stay on it and keep contacting him. Is he already airborne qualified? Ranger qualified? What's his rank? These are all questions that will determine his eligibility. But strictly speaking, as a 13F, they are always needed in lower enlisted positions. The trouble is, once you are an E6, the number of positions quickly get whittled down to a few and they like to grow their own. That doesn't mean it can't happen, just has to be persistent and it's all about timing. If he isn't already airborne and Ranger qualified though, I would immediately get those behind me as an NCO entering Regiment; pretty much a requirement for combat arms. If he has these qualifications already and stays persistent with his applying himself and calling the Regimental Fire Support staff, he can make it happen. How bad does he want it? That's what it boils down to. Two cents from a former 13F who grew up in Battalion/Regiment. Hope this helps.
