1) You enroll at your school and fill out a 20-1990 / 20-1995 form with the schools Certifying Officer (VA Rep).
2) You go to Ebenefits and apply for benefits (chapter 33 post 9-11 GI Bill).

If you have more than 2 years of service post 9-11 the VA pays 100% tuition (cost of class), gives you a book stipend, and a Monthly Housing Allowance (based on whether you are taking online or in classroom courses). If you have less than 2 years, it is prorated based on that time.

Every "Term," (semester/block/period/whatever) you go back and fill out a new form you go back and fill out a new 20-1995 (I believe I have the form number correct) with the SCHOOL which they submit to the VA which is how they get paid for you attending, and you get paid MHA/Book stipend.

You submit your request for support the same way. Your account does not change. Each University has VA rep that fully understands the program and what you are specifically authorized under their program.

You can apply online with the VA for benefits. You need to get your statement of eligibility and then take it to the school you choose. Go to this site and it will walk you through it. http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/post911_gibill.asp
