His message doesn't bug me. People have opinions and feel the need voice it. Making that statement in uniform while hiding his face only serves to tell me he's a dirt bag coward. Hiding his face... Isn't going to do what he thinks. He's in the choaking chickens aka 101st air assault. It won't take CID long to figure out who he is

That picture reminds me of all the terrorists and cowards in the world. They want to stand for something but don't want you to know who thy are. They all cover their faces

Considering the fact that this uniform has been out of service since 2017, I would guess this wasn’t an actual Soldier. Then again, he has his name and face hidden so he could be wearing an old uniform, has advanced in rank and is still in. Regardless, it is 100% bullshit to post this whilst posing in a uniform. As Servicemembers, ours isn’t but to reason why, ours is but to do or die. Embrace the suck, Hooah!!! You don’t dictate how you serve or what you will do while serving and wearing the uniform. You serve the Commander-in-Chief regardless of the political party he or potentially she belongs to—you swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, and that you will obey the orders of the President and the Officers appointed over you. There is no grey-it is clear cut, black and white! Once you are out and have served, the great majority of us having done so honorably, you are most entitled to your opinion—you have certainly earned it. You should have also learned how to appropriately convey your opinion so as to be a proper example of speaking your mind on a political issue, and not the proper example of a POS horse’s ass!!! Just a former SFC/E-7’s opinion.

Tear the Airborne patch off, pull the spec 4, remove our flag and put on a rainbow one!!!
When you enlisted, you are to follow all lawful orders... whether you like them or not.
Dig a latrine pit, unmask in gas chamber, peel potatoes, stand guard to zero dark thirty, pushups forever begin, fight in a conflict you do not agree with... Oh wait, I forgot, I heard you now get issued a stack of red "stress cards" to flash if your feelings are hurt.
I was taught; you fight for the brothers and now sisters next to you in the "foxhole". Have each others backs. Be the best you can so all come home. Anyone who wants war is an idiot and I do not agree to what is going on in Ukraine as the government is corrupt, I do feel for the civilians but... we go where we are sent.
In all honesty, I would close our borders, stop sending anything (money, equipment, aide etc) 'til we fix the cesspool that our country has become. Can put thousands of illegals in housing/shelters while we have veterans sleeping in the gutter!!!

OMG - This from a Soldier in The US Army an holding The Rank of E-4 . Which in all effect should be a Jr. Leader. No Military Member wishes for War , as it means any other form of communication has ended ....“Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.” – Ronald Reagan .... After every War I have asked myself have WE finally evolved to point that killing The next generation of our species is not a option . While we have made advances in areas of Medical & Technology that have greatly reduced the casualty losses , There is no soothing words or actions when your standing at the toe of flagged draped coffin of your Child . As Soldiers We do not get to pick what We feel is a Just Cause , an even the highest uniformed member does not make that call . Hopefully if this person pictured is in fact a Service Member he will return to the Civilian Lifestyle ASAP as his views are no way in line with his current choice of employment. HOOAH

Wow, there are thousands in the military that feel like this soldier does but they aren’t coming out to say it. The military has never been apolitical. Every movement the chief makes is based on political gain, economic gain, and strategical positioning. Just because you are required to do something-although nobody forced you to put on the uniform-doesn’t mean that you agree with it. Yet, bottom line when it comes to protecting those who are important to you you set your disagreement aside and get the job done! However, if you feel this way and it’s affecting you then please don’t re-enlist!
