Just another war, in 50 yrs we'll all be friends again and have new enemies, who will be our friends 50 yrs later. The military doesn't start wars, its the politicians that do. In our current world, just follow the money paths to war. Wars are no longer for mom and apple pie. We have to be very careful who we ally with. And most of all beware of the yellow press. Everyone has opinions some stronger than others but it doesn't mean they are right, and unfortunately they aren't proven either way even after conflicts. As military ours is not to reason why, ours is...................!

This does not suggest that we fight in the Ukraine! Surely this is not an affirmation.

If real, this person is simply an idiot.
The best way to go about being a service member is to strive to be apolitical. Whichever party is in power, it is your DUTY to follow (lawful) orders and do your job. Simple!

Propaganda to cause division, strife, mistrust amongst the ranks, most likely from China or Korea.

Russia's strongest weapon has been its naval force, they didn't stop with nuclear submarines, and it's not so much a MAD world these days.

Get out on DISHONABLE Discharge as should be with lack of discipline. When I serve Marines actively, Lucky we were under Peace Time!...

If you are "Man enough" to put a sign up then you need to be man enough to show your face. I agree with a lot of people on this site that you should stand up for different rights and other things that you think you should up for. However, you also have to remember (no matter what branch of service your in) saying, writing acting or doing something with protests or getting involved in certain activities and or posting social media stuff can get you court marshalled under UCMJ. The apprioate and legal thing this Soldier should have done is talk amongest his or her peers and higher up before making this statement. This is putting his or her unit in the news and facing some serious unnecessary consequences and unnecessary attention. Again we dont know all the facts here and Im not here judge or make judgements. But based on what I saw and read this is my opinion. I hope all works out for the best.

I think some battles are not made for us as Soldiers to be in, but at the end of the day it is about doing what you are told to do and not about what you do or don't want to do in situations like this.

Wow?! I guess this is a new Breed of soldier? If you wear that uniform (especially that Airborne Patch) your Duty, Honor & Country come first. Agree with WHY you are called to duty or not? You took an oath and it is your obligation. Do you think that all of our fallen brothers/sisters before you were 100% in agreement as to why they were fighting? I’m sure MANY of them held personal, religious & political views that were most likely in opposition with their assignments at hand. It is the resilience, fortitude and fighting spirit that makes the American Soldier the most feared fighting force on the planet. If ordered we go in fully knowing that we may not return home and proudly take on that task setting aside our personal beliefs and now the focus is to get the job done and get as many of our brothers and sisters home safely as possible. Afterwards? We can belly ache as much as we want BUT that is AFTER the job is done. It made a world of difference to me knowing that regardless of the situation that the soldier next to me was fighting (just as I) to ensure that the mission was accomplished and that we BOTH made it home to our families. God Speed young man & I Pray that you learn to respect the blood shed, lives lost and passion that MANY of us have as it pertains to having had the HONOR to Dawn that uniform!

If decided, the military can easily track this photo through this platform and digital signature to find this soldier to hold them accountable under numerous UCMJ violations. Soldiers follow orders and if those orders are do deploy and fight, then you do just that. Your individual feelings and concerns are not part of the obligation your swore to uphold when you volunteered to serve. Coming onto a public forum stating what you will and will not do clearly paints the picture of what kind of soldier you are and how your command needs to remove your cancerous, subversive, and undisciplined behavior from our ranks.
