If that was made while wearing a current authorized uniform i would be pissed...it is in an old uniform so the person is either a veteran or dependant and noone is remembeting the right to free speech that we vowed to defend

I don't know if anybody else sees this. Maybe it is my imagination or a bad photo, but isn't that a Marine field cover on the "Soldier" wearing an airborne division patch?

It’s probably fake in my opinion because he appears to be wearing a USMC cover with Army Insignia.

Don't do that in uniform. In civilian clothes, off-post, say what you want to say.

Given there has been NO declaration of war, his statements are allowed. And...can the US AFFORD much more spending for Ukraine? FORTY BILLION DOLLARS...and climbing. Its not like Ukraine is some virginal peaceful nation; it is one of the most corrupt nations on Planet Earth.

A complex situation for sure.

I actually wasn't going to comment but here goes. If the photo is really a current serving soldier then he has to learn Rule 1. You follow orders, go where your told and you do what your told period. This individual would be a liability in combat and put his comrades in danger due to his fear IMHO.

I doubt the validity of the photo. Wear out date for UCP camouflage pattern well before the Ukraine conflict.

This is a violation of the UCMJ. What is being done here is against the regulation that you don’t engage in political action while in uniform. This joker needs to be brought up in an article 15 charge.

We should support Ukraine, and remain ready to enforce NATO. That’s said, let Ukraine and Russia settle their differences. There are open conflicts all over the plant that we do not involve ourselves in directly, this is no different. Let Russia fuck with our boats and find out, till then let neighbors bicker.
