I estimate that I have traveled nearly 1 million miles during my 23 years in the Coast Guard. How many miles have you racked up?

Like COL Charles Williams I don't do math (HPA All the Way!), but between all the places I've lived as an Army Brat, the three colleges/universities I attended, and everywhere I've been as a active duty Soldier, plus any personal travel, it has been lots!

Army Brat: Hunter AAF, GA to Fort Ord, CA, back to HAAF.
Fort Campbell, KY to Fort Knox, KY to Savannah, GA.
Savannah, GA to Fort Hood, TX to Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Fort Leavenworth, KS to Budingen, W. Germany to Frankfurt, W. Germany.
Germany to Fort Polk, LA.
College: Fort Polk, LA to West Point, NY to Kansas City, KS to Savannah, GA with one trip to Fort Lewis, WA
Active Duty: Savannah, GA to Fort Knox, KY to Fort Benning, GA to Fort Hood, TX
Fort Hood, TX to Fort Knox, KY to Fort Riley, KS
Fort Riley, KS to Boise, ID to Twin Falls, ID to Fort Polk, LA
Deployed: 1xAfghanistan, 1xIraq
Fort Polk, LA to Fort Leavenworth, KS to Fort Hood, Texas
Deployed: 1xAfghanistan including a TDY trip from Kuwait City to Fort Riley, KS
Fort Hood, TX to Fort Jackson, SC.
Outside official duties, I have traveled to every state except AK, CT, VT and NH and to many countries in Europe and I look forward to adding many more travels in my next assignment with NATO!

I started to try to add them up, but it's given me too big a headache... think I'll just have a bourbon on the rocks and call it "too many"!
