I'm relatively new to Rally Point but I was just curious to hear of stories how Rally Point has helped you in your professional/personal advancement. Whether that was in building connections as you grow in your Military career or if Rally Point opened new doors for you through a civilian career.

RallyPoint has helped me, SPC Nate Lamphier, by allowing me to re-connect with the military in an online forum. Heck, I still work for the Army as a civilian, so you wouldn't think that I would need a site like this, but I very much enjoy interacting, reading, learning, and contributing. I guess things are a little less inhibited online, and people are more willing to open up. Plus, I'm a civilian now, a retiree, so I'm not really "in the mix" when it comes to military things at the unit where I work.

Personally, I like being able to ask questions and get real answers. I asked questions about the Army and AirForce for years but never got any real answers. Here I learned what I was wondering.

Sir, I like your response. I do miss some aspects of the military. I like having the ability to communicate with veterans and active duty personnel on any number of issues that affect us all. It is great that we can share information and help each other.
