I have recently been looking into special assignments and recruiter caught my eye. However, everyone that I ask says the experience was horrible. What are your thoughts/opinions on being a recruiter?

But in all seriousness, they have a really tough job. Their working hours are crazy, often well past the end of normal business hours. Lots of working weekends and working holidays.
Weeding through potential recruits and the ones who can't cut the mustard.
Not to mention the fact that if they don't meet their quotas, they might get fired from recruiting duty.
