15C is no longer an offered MOS. Its just the other half of the 15W MOS. 15W was split into 2 groups, Shadow and grey eagle operators.

The old 15C MOS is now an officer MOS and the intelligence portion was given to 35F in aerial exploration (AE) battalions.

SSG (Join to see) Roger. I'll let the course manager here at Ft Huachuca for the 15C course know we are no longer teaching 15C.

I’m not saying it’s not being taught. What I am saying is what the MOS used to be known as is not what it is today. Similar to 153A being a generic Warrant officer MOS and being assigned as a 153D or 153H. We have already acknowledged that 15C operate the grey eagle. The old 15C used to chill in an RC-12 which now is manned by 35F’s. You seem to just be on a mission to disprove me. SSG (Join to see)

SSG Brandon Smith is correct. With the change in POI, very recently, 15C is a thing. Grey Eagle are getting their own MOS. It is no longer a skill identifier. Shadow Operator 15W, Grey Eagle operator 15C. While it is not showing yet on anything it is indeed a thing. With the change in the POI, Operators don’t do a core segment in phase 1 and then get assigned platform anymore.

The issue for you is that 15C only accepts non promotable E4 and requires a flight physical. If you're a CPL, it's fair to assume you're promotable. So, you'd need a proponent waiver for your grade. You could just remove your promotable status, but then your RCP is 8 years and if you have more than 3-4 years in right now you won't be able to reenlist long enough to get a class seat. Unless you happen to have a flight physical in hand right now, there's a good chance getting one at your post will take about six months.

SPC (Join to see) the first phase of your flight physical is tomorrow. At the earliest you can get it back a month from now if you have a flight physician on hand. If not, another flight qualified physician has to sign off on your physical. If there isn't one available it has to be sent to the Aviation school Flight Surgeon in Rucker for approval.

Now, let's backwards plan this. Your RCP is April 2025 as a non promotable E4, if you're promotable you're not eligible. The SRR for 15C is 3 years, so you need to graduate by March 2022. The course is about six months long so you need to have a class date prior to September 2021. From when you request your class date it has to be at least 90 days away. Your physical will take at least a month to 6 months; realistically after New Years because of holiday schedule. So, your earliest best circumstances date is in 2021 requesting a class date of April 2021 to the latest possible date of September 2021.

Chances are that all the class dates for FY21 will be gone at that point. As I say to all the people who ask me about UAS, have a realistic second option you're working on so you don't waste your time
