Sorry I can be more help but all I can say is to stay on top of it and check in on it regularly. I do know that a re-submitted CIB 4187 needs to be approved by the first GO in your CoC. I’ve seen CIB/CAB documentation get de-prioritized as time goes on. If you’ve earned it, don’t miss out on the opportunity to be awarded what you deserve

Others will say, there is no specified time line on any awards. Every award level has an approving authority rank associated with it. It all depends on the work load and priorities of the approving authority.

Similarly related, it would typically take 3 months for a USAR soldier to get an ETS packet approved by the first GO regardless of the end of their contract (basically, this was the amount of time it would take a non participant soldier to show up RED, and well, I suppose they realized negative action after an ETS would cause incoming rounds of the GO if the soldier sought legal help, so they would finally get approved). Anyway........... President Trump was recently elected, and the ETS of a transgender soldier of mine came up. I submitting their packet along with two others. All three packets were approved with orders cut the following morning. So it made it to the desk of the approving General Officer, got signed, and someone lit a fire under the whole rest of the process until the orders were published. The two other soldiers greatly benefited from this timing.
