lol. I didn't say I was the best player but I found this is a huge way to relax.

I have assembled a strat, but used a pre-built neck and body.
I was mostly interested in the wiring because I wanted a series/parallel switch and a phase switch.
My next axe is currently being built by someone who knows more of what he's doing. Going to be a smaller body ES style with a flamed maple top, maple neck, ebony fretboard, MOP block inlay (and a phase switch).

I'm currently carving this out of solid maple. Kind of an LP style but with an evil twist. I bought an unfinished maple neck with the black block inlays for this. Glad you like the wiring. That's one thing I don't have patience with when making guitars. lol

This is my strat. Neck pickup is a burgundy Lace Sensor, middle the same on a phase toggle (replaces one of the pots). Bridge pickup is an older (Fender) red. The tone knob is a push/pull pot that runs the middle and bridge in series.

1SG(P) (Join to see), I live in Nashville, home of Gibson Guitars. You can find every type of guitar ever made here and, of course, there are many "boutique" guitar makers here as well!
