I've noticed we've got a lot of Harley and Motorcycle riding veterans, retirees, and active duty personnel here on RallyPoint.

Maybe pick a time and day for Biketoberfest in Daytona this year for Rally Point Riders to meet up like Ponce Inlet hidden treasure restaurant and bar. what do you think?

PO2 Pete Haga Due to the fact that we have RP Members all over the United States its going to be difficult to organize something that is convenient or close for the MidWest, East Coast, or West Coast, so it may have to be several locations over a one year period. This year is shot for me now moving to Colorado in the later part of August, but that doesn't mean I won't try again next spring and summer. I like your idea and would love to ride to that part of the United States - haven't been there on a bike yet.

for the sake of trying to put together something for this year is it possible to have some way to ID a Rally Point rider at biketoberfest this year? meet up some place the 14th or 15th and ride the loop from Beach street and down A1A threw Daytona Beach and then get some chow at one of the Restaurants.

I would be interested. I do the Republic of Texas of Texas rally every year now. It would depend a lot on location and time.

Still riding a sport bike this is my wife and I at Sturgis on my Buell 1125r last year at rally. We did 200 miles a day for a week.

I won't be home again until the 1st week of August, and leaving again the 1st week of September.
So, my vote would be mid-late August. Also, with such short time home with the family, my vote would also be somewhere within a days drive of Illinois.
