I'll be playing with the Hickory Wind Band on Friday, 11 November 2016 at the Delmar Fair Grounds (See the flyer above) in Delmar, CA Yes, I'm flying back to Calfornia for this event on Veterans Day!

I am still on Reserve duty overseas, but I look forward to joining the events in Central Ohio for Veterans day when I return next year.

LTC John Shaw - I actually never thought I would see them win a World Series in my life time. I've been going to Wrigley Field since I was about 6 or 7 years old - it was a long time for me of 52 years and unfortunately my Dad at 85 just missed it with his passing on October 7, 2016. Think of all the fans that never got to experience what happen last night in the history of the sport. Now who is the next team to that will go for 108 years before another win?

This part of the country appreciates us. All the schools have Veteran appreciation ceremonies and I have two grandsons that want me to be there. My little podunk has Saturday free lunch for Vets and AD.
