SPC Margaret Higgins, just like everyone else - I gutted my way through it. It did have some interesting side effects though - it was common for lecturers in classroom instruction to tell us not to obey an order they were about to give, and then call the room to attention. All of the sleepers would stand up. We got to the point of nudging our buddies awake before they were caught out.

5 to 6 hours on normal nights give or take. Towards the end it dropped to 4 hours give or take because we had to do entry control for our flight and the baby flights since they were so new they didn't know how to do things yet.
