How often do you connect with your battle buddies?

At least once a month, I keep in touch with my Military padres

I connect with my buddies via FB, and messenger at least 3-4 times per month.

Are you kidding? I finally met a guy after 52 years on Facebook on Veterans Day! Made my day!

Sadly no contact for 52 years. Posted an old picture on facebook veterans day. I was contacted by an old 273rd Radar Detachment 1CAV Div. crew member. What a Veterans Day!

Almost daily. Two are my best friends...a retired LtCol and a retired SMSgt. We hang out, sip suds, and laugh about old times. All of us retired around 15 years ago together.

Probably not as often as we do - when we get together using someone, more than likely all of us, get into trouble. Starts out harmless - "Hey Dave where going to Côn Lôn. You in?" but end ups "Your Honor I'd like to take fifty lashes"

I have searched for anyone who served at CROWS LANDING AUSLERY LANDING FIELS in Crow have never found anyone.
I was a PO3 firefighter, I went by Mike Fahrer. I would be amazed If someone saw this ans responded.

I knew it would be a great gesture for my family to receive.

Every couple of days, I communicate with my Marine Corps. Brothers!

Once every few months, but I've lost track of a lot of them.

I have never connected with a former service person I served with, but would very much like to. I was a corpsman in the Marine Corps and also served on a coastal minesweeper that was later transferred to the Fijian Navy and then grounded and sunk in a reef,

I am the odd duck who never forged a strong bond with my work colleagues. Just wasn't worth it when I was going to move in a year anyway. 20 years, 9 PCS moves and 4 TCSs.

Really just one guy - not that we are actual battle buddies (fortunate to be in during the Carter years). But we connect from time to time through facebook. Sad to say, I wasn't as tight with my teams as I should have been.

Don't think I ever have, don't know if there's anyone interested.

I have lost contact w many but I have also found many through social media. I also have a few that I text and keep in touch with--and have made new friends w Vets at my federal agency.

Virtually never. I am a fresh vet, so it means less, but I am afraid to.
I let bad memories overpower the good ones. Even posting here feels dangerously exposed. I don't want to open myself to being found.
It does hurt to feel so alone.
