Joined Army 2018 aug and I suppose to have blended with match but some how I'm enrolled in High-3 with no match. Got the confirmation letter from TSP saying high-3 with no match but finance system says I've been getting match ups and it's blended. I need to find where the disconnection is
I don't wanna keep something that I'm not suppose to have and pay inquiry, CMS inquiry from finance is no help.
Any advice?

Assuming you're not prior service and you didn't swear into the MEPS the first time before 2018 - aka your DD4/1 dated for 2017 - you should be ineligible for High 3. Finance can process a CMS case to fix it back, they would just need a copy of your DD4/1

SPC (Join to see) they're confused because it shouldn't have happened. It shouldn't be possible to have enrolled you in high 3 if your DIEMS date is 2018 or later. Hit me up on official email and I'll look up your CMS case.

Have you contacted DFAS and spoken with someone there? Like, literally had a verbal conversation and not an email conversation?

yes many times, they want me to submit a cms inquiry but it's not taking me anywhere

SPC (Join to see) - The reason why I ask is because back then, the messages that were being sent out to us was that if you wanted to keep the standard High 3, then do nothing in MyPay. If you wanted to go with Blended, then you had to go into MyPay and click a button. And we were being told this in 2017. Now, for you, since you joined in August of 2018, you should have been automatically given BRS because the automatic BRS went into effect 1 Jan 2018. Did you already submit the DD Form 2930 for the CMS Inquiry?

Yes SFC 3x I submitted CMS and no answer back. Hopefully my next unit's finance is better.

If you are a prior service person, when you joined active duty you had one year to make the switch. If your first DD4 in any service, branch, or component was before 2018 then your retirement is High 3 unless you went onto the my pay website and physically made the switch to BRS

I was Mavni and first contract was signed 2016 but CI interview took 2-years so I had to do entire enlistment over from the start. Maybe thats where the disconmection is? but the first contract I didn't even went to basic training it just expired... DD 1/4 says 2018 AUG.

SPC (Join to see) there is no disconnect, your retirement is based off your DIEMS which is the date on the very first contract you signed. You joined under high 3. Once you shipped you had one year to go into MyPay and switch to BRS.
