How true is this statement; "If someone is not fit for office, it doesn't matter that someone else may be even worse"?

Many Americans, not just conservatives, will cast essentially negative ballots. Is the only real argument for Hillary Clinton that she is not Donald Trump? Is the only real argument for Donald Trump that he is not Hillary Clinton? Neither argument is convincing. If someone is not fit for office, it doesn't matter that someone else may be even worse. Comments please.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski I still think that everyone should vote - even if the outcome has been bought and paid for - just my opinion Mark!

Capt (Join to see) - Maybe. Maybe not. As your vote doesn't count (unless you're an electoral voter), then we will still be in the mess.

We have a right to vote and a right to free speech.
The media combined with the mass herd mentality in following the media caused this mess.

Some of the worst presidents in history have been viewed as fit for office. When was the last time anyone voted for a candidate because he (or now she) was their first choice? Fit for office is a political attack, not a real fact. Our Democratic Republic has transmogrified into something controlled by the establishment as a whole, while watched and accepted it.

Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted to run our country, much less our military. If any of us had done a fraction of what she's done, we'd be in Levinworth breaking big rocks into small ones for the rest of our lives, and rightfully so. She is a threat to this country and a threat to our Constitution. She must not win, or this country as we've known it, I'd dead.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I'm a little confused after reading your post. Trump is trying to encourage what after he loses? I'm really surprised that someone in the military who had sworn am oath to the constitution and spent many years defending it (obviously) could in any way support or defend Hillary. While you haven't come out and said so in so many words, the fact is that either she or Trump will be the next POTUS. If you're against him, by default, you're for her. So, while I respect your service and I thank you for it, I would have to disagree with you.

Total hyperbole. Relatively speaking, the country will be fine, no matter who becomes president. We have 3 branches of government for reason. I don't like Donald Trump but not because I think he will destroy the United States but he is unfit for the role of the president. But if the American people elect him I will respect their will and continue to serve my country. Y'all need to stop with the idea that the country is hanging by a thread and destruction is abound if we don't elect Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

1LT (Join to see) - Call it what you will, but we simply can't sustain the growing national debt, the influx of illegals and unfettered refugees coming into this country. Nevermind the fact that the next POTUS will appoint at least 2 if not more Supreme Court justices. If Hillary appoints those justices, the court tips hard left and you can start kissing your 1st, 2nd and Lord knows how many more rights goodbye. Besides all of that though, Hillary should be in jail. If you or any other service member had committed the crimes that she has with classified material, you would be in jail. She's no better than any service member out there. She is NOT above the law.
