I have had a few civilians at my job ask me if I think we would win a war like that. I think we would, because I refuse to think otherwise. However, I am curious what you all think, and what we could do to better our odds.

For the record, I'll just say that I think a coalition of these countries is pretty unlikely, however most of the questions include all three of these countries. SOME have even thrown in ISIS as a member of the hypothetical coalition.

I think you called it right as Highly Unlikely. Any relationship they have at this Point is purely Business. Russia no long the Soviet Union, China is no longer MAO's Communist China and North Korea is the Hermit Kingdom and a Throwback on the Wayback machine to the worst times of the Cold War. I can't see any situation that they would work together in any Military Significant way other than being customers of Military Type Products. We have a bigger military budget than the Next 10 countries combined. Yes I think China has the best bet in any war of Attrition just a matter of numbers they can keep sending more and more warm bodies to die which would overwhelm any system. North Korea has the Highest Percentage of their People in the Military (It's the only way you get to eat) be active duty or reserves or starve. It just isn't a thing. ISIS, Just put that in Perspective it wasn't the US the Jihadis first attacked it was Russian in Afghanistan not until they were removed did the US replace Russia as #1 on the Hit List.

China, India, and North Korea would be our greatest adversary because of sheer number. We do have the technology to back us up, but not by that large of a scale. Production on their end may happen faster because of their population. This is of course if we do not involve nuclear weapons.

Not saying we would win or lose but it would indeed be a nightmare. This is all hypothetical of course.

Numbers don't matter with regards to numbers of soldiers. Not when a Tomohawk kills 2000 of them.
