I would like to know what everyone's thoughts are on what male and female Soldiers contribute to the military as far as interpersonal skill sets. Example; some may say that women are generally better at paying better attention to detail and multitasking, as men are better at fixing issues and...................well.........not sure what else. Lets keep it professional.

SFC (Join to see). All I know is some Surface Warfare Officers bring entirely different perspective to the Navy.
It is Navy tradition is for sailors to enter a raffle to be first to kiss your loved one upon ship's return from sea.

Navy officials said it was the first time on record that a same-sex couple was chosen to kiss first upon a ship's return. Sailors and their loved ones bought $1 raffle tickets for the opportunity. Gaeta said she bought $50 of tickets, a figure that she said pales in comparison to amounts that some other sailors and their loved ones had bought. The money was used to host a Christmas party for the children of sailors. USS Oak Hill 12/22/2011.
Gaeta: "It's something new, that's for sure . . . It's nice to be able to be myself. It's been a long time coming."
While some suggest sensationalism . . . it really means women are being treated equal to men in the military.
We no longer have to sit still to be told to mind your military manners . . . to behave like a catholic schoolgirl.
This never would have happened in the overwhelmingly male dominated military force of the previous century.
Warmest Regards, Sandy

Males and females have there oun things they are good and no one sex is better then the other. I trained all females on patrol and gate duties, trained three total. Only one whined about post assignments when she was having her period. I can say one, Jen Burke, was my best friend she rode patrol with me for a full year, I trained her, and she was my workout partner in the gym, she never complained and always was willing to rattle doors and do arrests, and do paperwork. She was definitely a bad ass. We doomed with nurses, and they were always kind and willing to have a good time.

I was always told (by male Marines) that they preferred females in Staff NCO positions over males. I guess the females from their experience were more flexible/understanding/reasonable about certain things than their male counterparts. Also, a SNCO role is more of a caretaker anyway, and I suppose most females have those sorts of instincts.

SPC Elijah J. Henry, MBA
Sheryl Verhulst, in my limited experience -- I have had maybe half a dozen 1SG's -- the one female 1SG that I had was pretty horrible by most assessments, all the others were pretty great.
Actually, now that I think of it, the 1SG in OSUT Reception was female, too, and she was very professional.

Well, on average we are able to produce more female service members from 1 ton of recruits than male service members from 1 ton of recruits.
We can check other metrics too but I'll let you know that volume comes out virtually identically to the mass metric provided above.
And no the results for skill at creating distraction threads on RallyPoint are still not ready. But preliminary indications point to questions about salute etiquette winning by a landslide.

They have begun integrating females into infantry units. All the supply "folk" are females in my unit. They're pretty effin lazy. I asked for a quick memo yesterday, and im quite sure ill have to ask again here this morning. 24 hours later. And there isnt any MREs in stock.

It doesn't have to do with sex, it has everything to do with the individual soldier. I've seen both good and bad male and female soldiers, and what I've seen is one sex never out did the other. Their are some physical limitations women have compared to men but those can always be overcome.
