I'd want to know why his/her wingmen didn't help him/her out before inspection. That's the bigger crime in my opinion, unless the person is known to just be a lazy shit head. In that case, it would simply be one more right up that would most likely lead to his/her eventual lack of retention.

I would probably laugh. Then I would look at his buddies and tell them to square this kid away. No need for the smoke sessions or paperwork. Some service members need closer leadership than others. Now if he or she was in for a few years and I thought he or she should know better, than maybe I would see it differently. This picture here is clearly from a FNG.
