Best of luck to you, brother. We need more prior enlisted officers.

Being competitive comes from filling out the paperwork correctly and having as much college as you possibly can, much like a warrant officer packet. I am not 100% sure, but letter of recommendations are usually required and some require a board. I can speak to the warrant officer packet process, the higher the APFT, the manner of performance to date (NCOERS), the college accrued, and the DA Photo are huge indicators of success. I am sure a G2G person will help fill in the cracks I have left unattended and speak from a personal point of view or knowledge..

Sir, thank you for the response. I am working on getting a LOR from the hospital CO here at WBAMC to include company and bat COs. I have won Soldier of the year last year and this year I won NCO of the year and represented the hospital at region both times. I Received CL at BLC and am on most commanders cup team sports. I will receive my first NCOER in Feb but I'm sitting in an E6 slot as the NCOIC of a clinic. I have my MOVSM, Air assault, and EFMB. I'm hoping all of these things will help the fact that I would require a waiver due to my 2.4 GPA.

SSG(P) (Join to see) - You are surely headed on the right track, never give up on your goals, if you want it, you will attain it, be patient as the college and GPA only get better with time. I applied three times for WOCS. I had actually quit and then I ran into a WO who fired me up to resubmit again. Your statistics remind me of myself when I was 29 and applied the third time. It worked out eventually, so don't give up and keep working at it. You will succeed..
