Open it. Save it as a file format. Close it. Option two. Open it. Tell it to print. Saving it as a PDFs should be a printer print option listed among the printers.
Option three. Print it. Put it into a document reader and email it to yourself. Viola, pdf.

SA Jim Arnold - Libre Office Writer can do the same things as Microsoft Office Word. Let me know if you need help. We can do a video chat on https://meet.jit.si/ to walk you through.

So it's on a USB drive. If it's in word you will need to convert it. There are several programs for this. First you'll need of course a computer. Once you plug in a USB drive in windows it will ask what you want to do. Just select open drive files. Once you can see the resume file. Right click on the resume file. Click on properties and let me know what file format the file is in. If it's in word it will look like resume.doc or PDF is Resume.pdf. Let me know what format it is.

Thanx, but I figured it out just before your comment appeared. Besides, i'm on a touch screen notebook. There's no such thing as a click with these things.

If you can open the resume, you can usually "print" or "save as" the document in an alternate form (like .pdf).
Shoot me a message, and I can help you convert it if you can't figure it out.

I tried looking at the "save as" option. PDF wasn't one of mt choices. This is getting frustrating.

I figured out how to transfer it to PDF thru the "print" option. It took me a few, but I got it. Thanx for the help !!!
