11B is OSUT, the lines between BCT and AIT are blurred, there is a good possibility you'll be starting on Day Zero. When I was going through in 2012 we didn't have anyone in your situation, but we did had two NCO's reclassing to 11B, that were inserted somewhere around week 4.

I'll bet you're right. We had a couple medical recycles when I was at the Sand Hill School for Wayward Boys in '09, and they started with us on Day 1 (don't recall seeing them at 30AG), and our reclass guys came in around week 7 or 8.

Ideally, no. But depending on this COVID thing, who really knows. It all comes down to how many Army Warrior Tasks you were credited for in Basic and your past AIT. Just hope that your past AIT kept up with your file so that your new Company Commander can place you into the cycle correctly.

Ok, so, given my experience when I went through OSUT, I know that you’re gonna have to deal with whatever happens. If you get there and if they allow you to start in a cycle that’s in blue phase, then you’re good for the lesser end of it. Just be prepared for it to suck worse solely because you’ve been through the ringer and your Drill Sergeants are gonna expect you to take charge and have a higher level of discipline since you’ve already been through the ringer. With that being said, if you don’t own a ranger handbook, go to the PX and get one. This is not a suggestion you have to get one, it will save your ass. In your situation you do not want to be ate up on sand hill, those Drill Sergeants will eat you alive. Good Luck and don’t fail this time.
