I have 1 Arcom with V and 6 additional Arcoms. How is this worn on the ribbon? The V device with 1 silver oak leaf?

I wear the Bronze Star with "V" and one silver OLC and one bronze OLC to represent seven awards of this decoration with multiple awards for valor, service and achievement. Your ARCOM would be worn in the same manner.

Thank you. That's where I was stuck. I was unsure if I had to wear an oak leaf to show for the Arcom with "V" since I was already wearing a device to show for it

So you have a total of 7 ARCOMs, one with V and 6 without? If so, then yes, according to AR 670-1 you would wear the V for one and a silver oak leaf cluster to denote 6 additional awards.

Actually, looking back at it, I think it would be the V, a silver oak leaf to denote five additional and a bronze oak leaf to denote the 6th. If you had 2 total awards you would wear the V and a bronze oak leaf to show that you had 2. So for each additional you would have to add an oak leaf. The silver denotes 5 so to show 6, in addition to the one with the V, you would need a silver and a bronze oak leaf.

Just the v device the v device is higher ranking so it wins out over the rest

Q21: How does a Soldier wear the devices and oak leaf clusters (OLC)? Is there a graphical representation or chart for this?
A21: Wear is governed by paragraph 22-11 of AR 670-1 and DA Pam 670-1, and paragraph 6-3 of AR 600-8-22. The general principles are that devices (V, C, and R) do NOT count like OLCs toward the overall number of awards, and the number of ribbons and OLCs MUST add up to the total number of that type of award. The attached chart ( file:///C:/Users/n161413.FT/Downloads/chart%20of%20Army%20device%20and%20OLC%20wear.pdf ) shows Army guidance for appropriate wear of devices and OLCs on Army ribbons.

Well I looked it up, so yes it would be V device and a Silver Because the first award is counted as one and then five additional awards and the V for Valor.

See that's what I thought. The V counted and it was not necessary to have another oak leaf to represent the award. But I'm also hearing that even with the V you still need to have an oak leaf for it

I think for 6 arcoms, it would be one silver (For five) and then on bronze and V would before that.
