I am currently on transition leave after the completion of my MEB. I am still active until 11 June. After that, I will update my profile to "Veteran". I moved from Washington State and currently living in Southern Tennessee. I think I am struggling with this whole "transition" thing. I am not depressed per sei, just searching for my 'new purpose'. I didn't expect it to be this difficult. Part of the issue is that I had a plan to move to Alabama (for veteran education benefits) but just realized that somehow I misread some information and now I find myself without a plan. Sorry, I didn't mean to whine and complain...I'll stop. I will be fine, I just need to relax and come up with a new plan. So anyway, I am back and looking forward to back to RP.

Welcome back SPC(P) Jay Heenan. If there's anything I can do to help you (answer questions, etc.) about transitioning to what us West Coast Navy guys call CIVPACFLT, let me know!

Many of us have been through the MED board so we are here if you have questions.

We all have our own unique struggles when it comes to transitioning from military to civian life. Don't allow the stress to overcome you or your goals for the future. Trust me, if you stay positive and driven it will work itself out.
