I have been in the Army Reserve since 2009. And in the 5 years that I have been in I have never once been to an Annual Training. Isn't the unit I'm attached to required to have an AT for me? What do you think?

If you aren't going to an AT then you must be going to some schools or something of that sort. If you are only going to drill once a month and are not attending schools, AT, or any sort of active training then you wouldn't be getting a "good year" and obtaining the required amount of MUTAS.

Typical BTA earns you 4 retirement points. 12 of those is 48 points. Combine with 15 membership points and you have 63. Only need 50 for a good year.

SSG Slover, that is a myth and usually spouted off by someone trying to force you to go to an AT. The SFC has it right. That said - you are missing out on key training if you don't do AT.

Thanks Gentleman. However, seeing as this was 7 months ago I am not sure why it is coming back up now, lol.
