I have yet to be gained by my command / NOSC. I signed my contract 2+ months ago. Should I wait it out or get ahold of someone?

I Signed a contract going from IRR to SELRES. I have been waiting 2 months and have yet to be gained by either. Its really throwing a wrench into my plans, as I am eagerly wanting to apply to the SELRES CANREC program. Should I wait it out? or is there someone I should reach out to the NOSC?

If I were you I would get in contact with them! Two months, even in the reserves is too long to wait when changing over!

If you want it bad enough, you won’t wait. Be politely persistent, at least at first. Waiting an appropriate amount of time is one thing. You’re past appropriate amount of time. Good luck.

Personally, I've never been one to wait it out. I know that the Navy can work slowly, but a polite inquiry would be in order for me.
