I just graduated BLC and my ERB MEL/MES is still showing me enrolled instead of completed. Where can I fix it?

I just graduated BLC last week. And I went to S1 to update my 1059 and S1 told me that they don’t have to update my 1059 on iPERMS because it doesn’t effect to my promotion even if they update 1059 on my iPERMS and also on my ERB MEL/MES is still showing enrolled to BLC instead of completed . My S1 told me that they can not fix that status. So in this case, where should I contact to fix my status for BLC? And does it matter to update my 1059 on my iPERMS to get promoted? I mean I know that I should update my 1059 but I am just trying to figure out that S1 is telling me the truth.

There seems to be a large argument right now about who is supposed to upload 1059’s . I believe the Reg says the school house is supposed to. However when they don’t, S1 should, but they don’t want to, because the school house should have. This is where I get pissed off. Someone is supposed to do something for the Soldier who is not allowed to do it for themselves, but no one wants to.
My suggestion, call the school to ensure they are uploading. If not force your S1 to do it, you might not need it for this promotion, but you will for the next. Also if you don’t already have an “I love me book” make one, it should have a copy of everything you receive from the military, except pay stubs and orders.

Para 3-18a(2), AR 600-8-19 might be of some help to you.
From what I remember about SLC, the schoolhouse will submit your graduation information to HRC as well. It took a few weeks, but my SRB was updated without my S-1 being involved.

If it is not immediately effecting you give it some time. After 60 days if it’s not there then the S1 needs to step up.

From a National Guard standpoint, S1 should iPerm your 1059. That is their job. Does this translate directly to AD. I don't know.
I do know it takes what it seems like forever for all the middle men to do their job. As a RNCO, I deal with this DMV like speed and efficiency on a weekly basis. I scan an upload to iPerms. I notify S1. They review and notify personnel action teams and then.....idk what happens in their magical world for weeks on end. But they sometimes process everything correctly. Sometimes not.
Give it some time. If no results, make S1 a step up. Use your chain of command to add friction if you encounter resistance.

It took awhile for ALC to update for me. But when it did say that I was an ALC graduate, my 1059 was not on my iperms. So I had to go to S1 for them to upload it.

I didn’t see it on my ERB for about 2 weeks. My S1 was telling me that it’s in the system about a week before your able to see it on your ERB. I don’t know how true that is.
