Have you been read your Chapter paperwork by your Commander? Were you given the opportunity to seek out Legal? Did you ask any questions to your Commander, NCOs, and JAG at any time during this process? If you did not, then I am at a loss of trying to figure out why you didn't. If you did, are you asking here because the answers you received were not to your liking? From start of your Chapter to pretty much right before you get your Discharge orders, you should have been notified what type of discharge you will receive and what kind of RE-Code you will probably receive. But....to go back and answer the actual question you posed here on RP....NONE of us will know until you receive said RE-Code. And even then, when you are discharged...you are going to have to walk into a Recruiter's office and present them with all your paperwork and they will be able to determine if you can re-enlist.

PV2 (Join to see) - Ok. Once you start clearing, you will visit S1 to begin your paperwork process. Here is where you will sit with someone to work up your DD 214. And that is where your RE-Code will be filled in. If you get an RE-Code 1 or 2, you should be good to come back in. If it's a 3 or 4....you are gonna need a waiver or possibly not be allowed to re-enter the service.

If you are being chartered that is it! You may have some hope in the distant future for re-entry with a waiver. I would not count on it. No one is chaptered for a single event, start by being honest with yourself and RP members if you are looking for guidance. Good luck.

PV2 (Join to see) - Not if you are barred from continued service along with the chapter. If so, you will not be able to enter AD, RC, or NG. This is a new tool for commanders to prevent subpar service members from coming back in.

PV2 (Join to see) first of all take this advice literal. You're a PV2, I'm PFC. I can tell you that even though this is over social media, I can tell by the way you are talking on here that you don't listen to your superiors. You've been given feedback for a question you have asked and had a rebuttle or a snide remark for everything said. Where is your military bearing? Second if you can't discipline yourself with a very simple task as to waking up and being on time for formation then you shouldn't be in the army do yourself a favor and take this as a learning experience and apply yourself more in your life.
Good luck

SFC (Join to see)
1SG (Join to see) that's a common myth pushed by Commanders. When a soldier separates they only received one SPD code. The SPD code for separating with a bar is a lower priority than the SPD code for patterns of misconduct.

I reading the comments and yes I know army is tuff blahh blahh blahh. We dont know what this man/woman was going through when he/she was discharged. Have a little respect and realize rhat maybe it didn't work out for the first or second time, but he/she feel like this time around can not only do better but wants too. Get your head out your ass and try in help him/she and maybe he /she would somehow do better over all of us. So i get it, oh if he/she can't pass pt and the army just turn a blind eye and he /she get deployed, what if he can't help his/her fellow. Just if you have the answer help if not just say sorry i can't help and move on stop putting people down cause they failed a pt test
