I'm in the Army Reserves and want to switch to active duty. If I retake the ASVAB, can I get another MOS when I switch?

Getting another MOS will probably be the easy part if you make it back to MEPS. Getting a conditional release signed by your Chain of Command is the show stopper. Units are almost always unwilling to let anyone go ahead of their ETS. Best of Luck!

CPL, your local AC recruiter can help you with that. USAREC has business rules that they follow. Your best bet is to talk to them and see what they have to say. They should help you complete a 368/Conditional Release that you would need to submit through your unit. Good luck and thank you for your service..

MSG is correct, you will need to get with a recruiter and then get with your command. Some commands are more willing to release you than others.
