I will be changing that (P) to a 3! Who helped you through your careers?

Just got the word from my BDE S-1, a fellow Warrant, my Fed-Rec packet has been approved and I should see orders shortly for CW-3. This will be my last promotion, and it has proven to be the longest, and hardest of all of them. Having been tagged as a diabetic post deployment, I have lived in MEB/PEB hell. I won't say the school situation was much better, as the wars tended to shrink the number of courses available form year to year. If it were not for the support of my fiancée I would of packed it in some years ago.

When I was a single guy I used to think it was corny as hell to see guys talk about their wives and family when they got promoted, now I get it! How about the rest of you, who helped you through your careers?
