Hopefully SGT (Join to see) sees your post. He is the first person I'd talk to about this. Go to his profile page and start scrolling down through some of his updates/shares and you'll see what I mean.

I’ve been in the same boat when I was building a side hustle, and I did a lot of research on website platforms. Wix is a good option for beginners—it’s easy to use, and you can create something pretty polished without too much hassle. But if you want more flexibility in the long run, platforms like WordPress or Squarespace are also worth checking out.
One thing I learned is that setting up a solid legal structure early on can save you a lot of headaches later. When I started my own project, I decided to start Delaware LLC https://delaware.houseofcompanies.io/ to make sure my business was set up properly from the get-go. It made everything much easier with taxes, liability, and even building credibility.

Thanks for mentioning me, SGT Robert Pryor. PO2 Jacqueline Roeshink, my recommendation depends on your future plans for the website:
E-commerce
In-depth customization
Just blog and post affiliate ads
Many prefer Wix because of it's longevity and ease of use with drag-and-drop without the need to code much (WYSIWYG - "What you see is what you get"). However, Squarespace is arguably the best option for those who want a stable website without the responsibility of maintaining a web server.
The more DIY method would be to purchase web server space from a web hosting company:
GoDaddy like SP5 Jim Curry mentioned
HostGator (great uptime and support)
InMotion Hosting (great support)
This method requires you install your content management system (CMS) or website builder of choice and set it up yourself (or with the help of your web hosting technical support). The most popular options for this route:
WordPress.org (WordPress.com is the restricted Wix/Squarespace style version of WordPress)
Drupal
Joomla
Lastly, remember that a domain and website are separate charges and components. In most cases, you can connect a domain and website from any two different companies.
Let me know if you have more questions regarding this.

SGT Robert Pryor
Thank you for jumping in on this, SGT (Join to see). You may not have even known I existed before my mention of you in this thread, but I try to read you when I come across your posts. Most of what you write is like your post here -- way above my station in life. But Reading different people here on IT, you are the one that stands out to me and I make a mental note on the experts in a number of different fields for future reference. You're the one I picked for this field. Obviously from what you just wrote above, I made the right choice. Now if you ever have a question on farming, irrigation or Agriculture Science -- hopefully you think about this retired farmer. LOL
