For those of you who watch movies, has anyone seen the movie Idocracy and noticed a resemblance between the movie and the way our society as a whole is going?

Example - 20 years ago, no one would talk about electrolytes. Now, you can't find any sports drink that doesn't talk about having electrolytes........

Parts of that movie, I feel, are certainly coming true

I love this movie.
It does have resemblance to society as a whole so what I think needs to happen now is someone needs to make a company called Brondo and make people believe it's what plants crave then only have Costco's everywhere and make the greaters say "Welcome to Costco, I love you"

Silly movie. Scary concept. Here's the question: as smarter and richer people have less babies, and less smart and less rich people have more will this cycle move faster than the development of technological improvement to balance the power?

As much as we want to not believe what's going on, the movie hitsa point. Society is becoming more dependent on energy drinks. People can't do simple arithmetic, and so on. Movie was not far off from the truth
